This Privacy Statement is designed to assist you in understanding how emoze uses and safeguards the information you provide when utilizing emoze’s Push Mail and PIM service (the "Service").
Your privacy is important to emoze. Therefore, emoze is committed to respecting your privacy and the confidentiality of your personal data, traffic data, and communications content.
emoze collects and processes, or has third party service providers who collect and process on emoze’s behalf, personal data relating to you, as strictly necessary to (1) perform the Service, in particular to convey the communications you make by means of the emoze Software and/or the Service, (2) invoice you for your use of the Service, and (3) carry out emoze marketing activities.

1. The services emoze offers
emoze Ltd. is a company established under the laws of the State of Israel ("emoze"). emoze offers you the emoze Software and the Services through the emoze Website. emoze reserves the right, at any time, to add additional features or functions, or to provide programming fixes, updates, and upgrades to the emoze Software and Service.
2. The information emoze collect
In order to provide the emoze Software, emoze gathers and processes the following information:
- Register Information
- User Profile
- Personal Data of Friends
- Feedback Information
- Passive Information
- E-mail Addresses
- Mobile Numbers
In addition to the above mentioned information and in order to provide you with the Service, emoze shall collect and process the following information:
- Subscriber Information
- Traffic Data
emoze does not collect any Communications Content.
3. The purpose and usage of information
- E-mail addresses
emoze respects the privacy of personal e-mail accounts and stores your e-mail addresses as securely as any other Personal Data. emoze will not send you unwanted e-mail messages or junk mail, and your details will not be passed to third parties without your explicit permission. However, emoze will use e-mail to send you messages about faults and service issues.
- Feedback Information
Any and all information voluntarily submitted in feedback forms on the emoze Website is reviewed for the purpose of improving the emoze Software, the Service, and emoze Website. emoze reserves the right to utilize anonymous information for marketing purposes, for instance by displaying selected comments on the emoze Website or in other communications. Further, emoze may from time to time ask you to provide information on your experiences using the emoze Software and Service, which will be used to measure and improve quality. At no time will you be obligated in any way to provide such data. emoze will never use any personally identifiable (feedback) information without your explicit permission.
- Passive Information
Passive Information is automatically generated and is not stored centrally. emoze will only use this Passive Information, on an aggregated level, to provide you with better service or for statistical information. emoze may also use e-mail to keep you up-to-date with news about the emoze Software and the Service. If you do not want to be kept informed in this way by e-mail, please contact emoze at unsubscribe@emoze.com.
- Personal Data of friends
You may be interested in inviting your friends to join emoze. In the event that you wish to use emoze’s referral service, you will be directed to a webpage on which you may add one or more e-mail addresses in an online form. The information entered on this form will only be used for the purposes of automatically generating an e-mail message to these potential emoze users and will thereafter be immediately deleted.
- Register Information
You must register in order to use the emoze Software.
- Subscriber Information
emoze asks for Subscriber Information in order to verify your identity and to provide the Services. This Subscriber Information is securely stored on a server and utilized only by emoze.
- User Profile
emoze does store the User Profile centrally on a server.
- Traffic Data
In order to transmit information, emoze collects Traffic Data.
4. Transfer of Personal Information
In order to provide you with The Service or other services you have requested, emoze may sometimes, if necessary, share your Personal and Traffic Data with carriers, partners, service providers, and / or agents; for example with a distributor of emoze Software and / or the Service, and / or a third party banking organization, and / or other providers of payment services.
emoze shall not sell, rent, trade, or otherwise transfer any Personal Data and / or Traffic Data or Communications Content to any third party without your explicit permission, unless it is obliged to do so under applicable laws or by order of the relevant authorities.
emoze will always require such third parties to take appropriate organizational and technical measures to protect your Personal Data and Traffic Data and to observe the relevant legislation. Please be informed that, notwithstanding the aforementioned, in the event of a designated competent authority requesting emoze or emoze’s local partner responsible towards such authority to retain and provide Personal Data and / or Traffic Data, or to install wiretapping equipment in order to intercept communications, emoze and / or its local partner will provide all necessary assistance and information to fulfill this request.
Information collected on the emoze Website may be stored and processed in any country in which emoze maintains facilities. In this regard, emoze reserves the right to transfer information outside of your country. As emoze continues to develop its business, emoze might sell or buy subsidiaries or business units. In such transactions, as well as in the event emoze or substantially all of its assets are acquired by a third party, personal information of emoze users will generally be one of the transferred business assets. We reserve the right to include your personal information, collected as an asset, in any such transfer to a third party.
By using emoze Software or the Service you consent to any such transfer of information outside of your country. In case of such transfer, the information remains subject to any pre-existing Privacy Statement.
5. Cookies and their usage by emoze
Cookies are pieces of information that emoze will transfer to your computer’s hard drive through your browser to enable emoze’s systems to recognize your browser. Cookies also enable emoze to gain information about the use of the emoze Website and to enhance the emoze Website according to the preferences of its users.
The Help option on the toolbar of most browsers will tell you how to prevent your browser from accepting new cookies, how to have the browser notify you when you receive a new cookie, or how to disable cookies altogether. emoze’s cookies do not contain any identifying information. Please bear in mind that some personalized services may not be available if you disable the cookies.
6. emoze's Responsibility
The emoze Website may contain links that will let you leave the emoze Website and access another Website. Linked websites are not under the control of emoze and it is possible that these Websites have a different privacy policy. The Privacy Statement applies solely to personal information that is acquired on the Website, so emoze urges you to be careful when you enter any personal information online. emoze accepts no responsibility or liability for these other Websites.
7. How emoze protects your Personal Information
emoze shall take appropriate organizational and technical measures to protect the Personal Data and Traffic Data provided to it or collected by it, and shall not retain it any longer than required in order to perform its services or as required under relevant legislation. Your Personal Data and Traffic Data can only be accessed by authorized employees of emoze, who require such access in order to fulfill their given duties.
emoze shall take appropriate technical measures to protect the confidentiality of the Communications Content via its emoze Software and the Service, with due observance of the applicable obligations and exceptions under the relevant legislation.
8. Can this Privacy Statement be modified?
emoze reserves the right to modify the provisions of this Privacy Statement if deemed necessary. We will inform you of these changes on the emoze Website. You agree that by continuing to use the emoze Software or the Service following the publication of the revised Privacy Statement, you are indicating your acceptance of the revised statement.
9. What rights do you have and how can you contact emoze?
If you would like to exercise your right to view, correct, complete, or remove your Personal Data, please contact emoze at unsubscribe@emoze.com. Within a reasonable period of time and upon verification of your identity, emoze will fulfill your request, provided that it does not require emoze to act contrary to applicable legislation.
10. How long is Your Personal Data kept by emoze?
emoze will retain your information for as long as is necessary to: (1) perform the Service; (2) carry out emoze marketing activities; (3) comply with applicable legislation, regulatory requests, and / or relevant orders from the courts; or (4) fulfill any of the other purposes detailed in this Privacy Statement.
11. Definitions
In this Privacy Statement the following capitalized definitions are used in their singular and plural forms.
Communications Content: any information that is communicated by users of emoze Software and / or the Service, such as e-mail.
Feedback Information: any information that is reported to emoze by filling in the feedback forms on the emoze Website.
Passive Information: any information that is necessary in order to provide you with the desired functionality of the emoze Software, such as a session ID token, source, and destination addressing information, and the version of the software you are using.
Personal Data: any information that emoze possesses relating to an identified or identifiable user of emoze Software and / or the Service.
Register Information: any information provided when voluntarily registering at the Website, including, but not limited to, username and password.

emoze Software: a software that enables the Push mail and the use of PIM service.
Subscriber Information: any information that is necessary to verify your identity and to provide the Service, such as your name and e-mail address on the emoze Website.
Traffic Data: any data processed for the purpose of the conveyance of the Service, including, but not limited to, the update times and the frequency of e-mails sent.
User Profile: any information about the user, filled in by the user on the emoze Website or the emoze Software.
